An inspiring tale...

this incredible journey hasn't made many of the history books, but that's all about to change.

Henry Box Brown - A Musical Journey, is inspired by the true story of an 1850’s enslaved Virginia man, who shipped himself to freedom in a box with the help of African American and white abolitionists. With a fusion of Gospel, R&B, blue grass, traditional and original negro spirituals, this musical celebrates the ability to transcend barriers and the triumph of the human spirit.

Henry Box Brown - A Musical Journey received raves at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018, winning over thousands of people, receiving a nomination for Best Musical and very positive reviews from more than ten different outlets, including The Times, The List and The Herald, and was featured in a special TV segment for BBC Sunday Morning Live.
