Tell us what you think: ...I thought this story should be more widely known. Now it made me read up more about him after he won his freedom. The show is amazing - especially the dramatisation of a true story and the singing! I hope it comes to my home city - London!
When i leave the theater i will think differently about...: it makes me think more how such undiscovered stories must be told, especially to children.

Tell us what you think: I OPENLY WEPT AS I WATCHED, listened, felt the pain and sadness of those held in slavery. I was born, raised and educated in the Philadelphia school system. My 12th grade English teacher, Sarah Strickland Scott read his story to us. However, seeing it had a deep and profound effect that TOUCHED MY VERY SOUL

Tell us what you think: I thought it will be a lovely show, because I heard the cast perform a few songs on High Street. Now I am intensely grateful I got to see a show which WAS LIKE A 1 HOUR PRAYER OF HEALING for so many different generations. I hope it opens the hearts of the people who see it, because seeing families being ripped apart like that - which still happens today - is just painful and should bring more empathy and awareness to everyone who is open.
When i leave the theater i will think differently about...: The magnitude of injustice and inhumane behaviour that is accepted by so many people during any time of divisive cultural struggles where the idea of "us and them" prevails. Also, the strength of faith to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles in this life and inspiration in our early childhood years.
